The first-ever Dye Hard Cup has been announced for this November in the Dominican Republic.

The event will be contested over 90 holes on four Pete Dye designed courses. The first two rounds at La Romana and Dye Fore will be 27 holes, while the final two rounds will be 18 holes at The Links and Teeth of the Dog, which Golf Digest voted the top course in the Caribbean.

The tournament is open to 90 players, and they will be battling for a winner- take-all prize of $90,000. The event is open to professionals and amateurs with the format of the competition being stroke-play and gross score.

"We are looking forward to hosting some tremendous golfers for six days of great competition and camaraderie," said Peter Bonell, Chief Marketing Office. "Their talents will be challenged by the beautiful, but difficult tests that Pete Dye has blessed us with at Casa de Campo."
