Hawks sign first-round pick Jenkins

Atlanta, GA – The Atlanta Hawks signed first-round pick John Jenkins on Tuesday.

Terms of the deal were not released per club policy.

The 23rd pick of the draft led the SEC in scoring the last two seasons at Vanderbilt, netting 19.9 points per game last season.

The 21-year-old guard was First Team All-SEC twice in his college career and is currently participating in the Hawks' rookie-free agent camp in Atlanta and will play in the NBA Summer League later this week.
