Hawaii sophomore guard Bobby Miles has elected to transfer, the school announced on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles native will transfer to a school closer to home, head coach Gib Arnold said.

"I have really enjoyed coaching Bobby," Arnold said. "He is a great kid to be around and a good teammate. I wish him the best on finding a school closer to home to fit his needs."

Miles played appeared in 55 games with 17 starts during his two seasons as a Rainbow Warrior. In the 2011-12 season, he finished fourth on the team in assists with 56 and averaged 2.2 points per game.
