Sinaloa, Mexico – Pedro Guevara knocked out Richard Claveras in the first round to retain his WBC light flyweight belt.
Guevara (25-1-1, 17 KOs) earned his third straight win via stoppage, while Claveras (12-1-2, 12 KOs) had been coming off first and second-round KOs.
