Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Georgetown guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera announced Tuesday that he will forgo his senior season and enter the NBA Draft.

Smith-Rivera was selected to the All-Big East First Team and was the Hoyas' leading scorer, averaging 16.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

"D'Vauntes has decided to enter the NBA Draft," Hoyas coach John Thompson III said. "He has given a great deal to this program and we will do everything we can to help him pursue his goals."

The Indianapolis native led with 25 points and eight rebounds in Georgetown's 84-74 win over Eastern Washington in the second round of the NCAA Tournament this season, but the team fell to Utah in the following game.

Smith-Rivera averaged 14.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 97 career games at Georgetown and became the 45th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
