Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari suffered a knee injury in Thursday's game against Dallas.

In the second quarter, his left knee buckled as he drove to the basket. He then hopped to the sideline and was eventually helped off the court by teammates. After a few minutes, he was taken into the locker room.

There was no word after the game on the extent of the injury, but the team said he will have an MRI done on Friday.

Gallinari is the second-leading scorer on the team with 16.3 points per game. He also has averages of 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 70 contests this season.
