Stillwater, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Phil Forte scored a game-high 20 points off the bench as the sixth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys took care of Robert Morris with a 92-66 win.

Markel Brown scored 18 points, Brian Williams had 12, and Kamari Murphy added 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench in the win.

Marcus Smart was in foul trouble early in the first half and finished with just seven points, but did contribute eight assists for the Cowboys (12-1).

"I feel as if we look pretty good as a team," said Williams. "We had 27 assists tonight -- that's a pretty good mark. If we can keep that up, we'll be just fine."

Karvel Anderson deposited 16 points for Robert Morris (5-9), while Anthony Myers-Pate was the only other scorer for the Colonials to finish in double figures with 10 points.

Oklahoma State scored the first nine points of the game with Smart opening up the contest with a driving layup and a deep 3-pointer. He also assisted on the following two buckets to finish the opening sequence.

Robert Morris followed with two straight buckets, but the Cowboys went on an 8-0 run which was capped by an emphatic dunk from Brown for a 17-4 lead with 13 1/2 minutes left.

The Colonials trailed by 11 when Lucky Jones nailed a 3 with 7 1/2 minutes to play in the half.

Oklahoma State, however, had an answer and scored the next six points to push the lead back to double digits. Brown made another dunk during the stretch and followed with a pair of free throws with just over six minutes to play for a 35-21 advantage.

Robert Morris was game throughout the first half, weathering everything the Cowboys threw at them as the Colonials answered with six straight of their own to once again make it an eight-point game with 3:47 to play.

Oklahoma State maintained composure, though, ending the half on an 11-4 surge for a 46-31 lead at the break. Forte and Stevie Clark each hit 3s and Brown capped it with an alley-oop from Clark.

Anderson opened the scoring in the second half and the Cowboys proceeded to go on a 13-3 run to take total control with a 59-36 lead. The high-flying Brown struck again as he capped the run with an alley-oop from Williams.

Robert Morris got as close as 16 after a Charles Oliver 3 and the Cowboys led by a game-high 30 late in the second.
