Fordham's Patrick Murray hopes to get a kick out of the final game of his career Saturday.

The senior kicker has set school and Patriot League records with 23 field goals this season. Heading into Fordham's final game against visiting Colgate, Murray is three field goals shy of the FCS single-season mark of 26 set by Tony Zendejas of Nevada in 1982 and matched by Northern Iowa's Brian Mitchell in 1990.

Murray has connected on 23-of-26 field goal attempts, setting a school record with a 52-yarder in the season opener against Lock Haven and then bettering it with a 55-yarder against Cincinnati. He has four field goals of at least 50 yards.

He also leads the nation with a 46.2-yard average on punts and has been named the Patriot League special teams player of the week seven times.

Fordham has a 6-4 record. Colgate, the Patriot champion, is 7-3.
