Flyers sign top pick Couturier

Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Flyers signed forward level contract on Wednesday.

The eighth overall pick of the 2011 draft, he posted a goal and an assist in his preseason debut against Toronto on Tuesday.

The MVP of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season, the 19-year-old totaled 36 goals and 60 assists with the Drummondville Voltigeurs last season.
