Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Calgary Flames have activated forward Mason Raymond off injured reserve.

Raymond had missed 17 games because of a shoulder injury and is expected to return to the lineup for Tuesday's game against Toronto.

In 10 games entering play Tuesday, Raymond has five goals and two assists for seven points. He was tied for the team lead in goals when he was placed on IR in late October.

Raymond signed a three-year contract with the Flames in July after playing last season in Toronto. He spent his first six NHL seasons with Vancouver.

The Flames assigned forward Sven Baertschi to their American Hockey League affiliate in Adirondack to open a roster spot. He has three assists in 14 games for Calgary this season.
