Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson was listed as a limited participant in practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday, according to the Falcons official injury report.

Sidelined with a hamstring injury, Jackson has missed the last four games. However, Atlanta is hopeful he can return to the lineup when the team travels to Arizona for a conference matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Jackson suffered the injury in Week 2 against St. Louis. The former Ram left his new team's 31-24 victory over his old one immediately after making an 8-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter.

Atlanta's rush unit, which ranks 30th in the NFL, has suffered in Jackson's absence, averaging 71.5 yards per game and netting a season-low 18 yards last Sunday in a 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Wide receiver Roddy White (hamstring/ankle), running back Jason Snelling (ankle) and linebacker Stephen Nicholas (thigh) did not participate in practice. White also sat out last week's game with his injury.
