Bahia, Brazil – Paulo Roberto Falcao was named the new manager of Bahia on Wednesday, replacing Joel Santana, who left the club for Flamengo.
Falcao spent a short time at Internacional last season before being sacked following a poor run of results.
The 58-year-old joins Bahia on an 11-month contract and will try to bring the club its first trophy in 11 years.
