VANCOUVER -- Canucks defenseman Christian Ehrhoff was part of a group of players who took part in an optional skate Monday morning at Rogers Arena, but wasn't tipping his hand as to whether he'll play Game 5 on Tuesday night.

Ehrhoff appeared to injure his left shoulder after a collision with San Jose Sharks forward Jamie McGinn with 5:40 remaining in the first period of Game 3. He was a scratch from Game 4 on Sunday.

"I definitely feel better than Friday after the game, that's for sure, but it's still day-to-day," Ehrhoff said. "If it's not ready to go, I obviously wouldn't go so that's a decision we got to make."

On a blue line, which suffered numerous injuries throughout the regular season, Ehrhoff was the lone bright spot missing just three games when he was struck in the ear with the puck.

In 16 playoff games the 28-year-old has 2 goals and 9 assists.
