The field for the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament was announced Sunday, and the defending-champion East Carolina Pirates were among the 32 teams selected.

The tournament, in its sixth year, expanded from 24 teams in 2012 to allow for more regional games and less travel in the early rounds.

East Carolina will host Wright State in one of seven games played on Tuesday, the others being VMI at Canisius, Norfolk State at Eastern Michigan, Chattanooga at ETSU, Columbia at Valparaiso, Alabama State at Sam Houston State and Portland State at San Diego.

The tournament actually begins on Monday with Brown hosting Holy Cross.

Wednesday will see eight matchups: Quinnipiac at Yale, Towson at USC Upstate, Cleveland State at Ohio, Akron at IPFW, Murray State at Missouri State, North Dakota at Nebraska-Omaha, Texas A&M Corpus Christi at Northern Colorado and Pacific at Grand Canyon.
