Nathan Dyer signed a new three-year contract with Swansea City on Tuesday.

Dyer, 23, had a contract through the current season, but signed the extension to keep him with the Wales club through the summer of 2014.

"I'm really pleased. We've just got to the Premier League and I want to be part of things," Dyer said. "It's a great club so I'm happy to be here.

"We've made massive strides as a club and I don't see why I should want to go anywhere else. I can learn my trade here and keep improving as a player."

Swansea is winless after two matches, but earned a draw Saturday against Wigan for its first point.
