Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combined for 53 points in just three quarters of play as the Oklahoma City Thunder routed the Chicago Bulls, 92-78, on Sunday.

Westbrook netted 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor while Durant registered 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting for the Thunder, who moved within a game of Chicago for the NBA's best record.

Durant and Westbrook sat on the bench for the entire fourth quarter as Oklahoma City took a 29-point advantage into the final frame.

Playing without Derrick Rose for the 10th straight game due to a groin injury, the Bulls shot just 33.0 percent from the field. John Lucas led Chicago with 19 points.
