Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Columbus Blue Jackets announced Tuesday that center Brandon Dubinsky was activated from injured reserve and will make his season debut against the Flyers.

The 28-year-old native of Alaska has been held out of action while recovering from off-season abdominal surgery. Recipient of a six-year contract extension in July, Dubinsky now has a chance to build off a 16-goal, 34-assist campaign in 76 games last season.

A veteran of 498 NHL contests with the Rangers and Columbus, he has recorded 99 goals and 283 points in eight seasons.
