Angel McCoughtry made all but two of her 11 field goals, finishing with a game-high 30 points, as the Atlanta Dream bolted out of the gate and never looked back in an 88-57 thrashing of the Connecticut Sun.

Erika de Souza had 18 points and a game-best 15 rebounds for the Dream, who had lost four straight games, including the opener of this home-and-home set on Wednesday.

Atlanta, which won for just the second time in its last 10 games overall, outscored the Sun by a 20-7 margin in the first quarter.

Iziane Castro Marques paced Connecticut with 18 points off the bench.
