Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated infielder/outfielder Jerry Hairston Jr. from the 15-day disabled list and optioned shortstop Dee Gordon to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Hairston, who was sent to the DL with a strained left groin, last appeared in a game for the Dodgers on May 5 and is batting .255 with a home run and five RBI over 20 games this season.
Gordon has five steals, but is batting .175 with one home run and eight runs batted in 19 games this season.
