Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks activated outfielder Cody Ross off the 15-day disabled list and put outfielder Jason Kubel on the 15-day DL Saturday.
Ross, who hasn't played in a game this year due to a strained left calf suffered in spring training, hit .267 with 22 homers and 81 RBI in 130 games for Boston last season. He was signed by Arizona as a free agent in December.
Kubel, who is on the shelf with a strained left quadriceps, is hitting .333 with a pair of home runs and six RBI in eight games this season.
