Newark, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Jersey Devils have placed forward Mike Cammalleri on injured reserve because of a lower body injury.

Cammalleri hasn't played since Dec. 13 against Dallas and has already missed three games. He will sit out Saturday against Washington and will be eligible to return Tuesday against Carolina.

Despite missing 11 games with injuries in his first season with New Jersey, Cammalleri leads the team with 11 goals and has added four assists for 15 points in 23 games.

The Devils also recalled defenseman Adam Larsson and forward Mike Sislo from their American Hockey League affiliate in Albany.
