New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - For the third straight month, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was named Western Conference Player of the Month.
Toronto's DeMar DeRozan took home honors for the East.
Westbrook wrapped up his career-best season by averaging 32.5 points, 8.1 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game in April. He collected two more triple- doubles, finished the season with 11 and scored a career-high 54 points on Sunday.
DeRozan led Eastern Conference players with 24.1 points per game in April and also tallied 4.9 assists and 3.7 rebounds. His Raptors won the Atlantic Division for the second straight season and will start a first-round series against Washington on Saturday.
