Johnny Dee scored 22 points, including a 3-pointer as time expired in the first half that gave San Diego a lead it never relinquished, and the Toreros went on to post a 67-56 win over Southeast Missouri State on Saturday.

The game was San Diego's second in the Loyola Marymount Classic tournament. The Toreros (1-1) lost to Boise State, 65-60 in Friday's opener.

Dee was 6 of 12 from three-point range and 7 of 16 overall from the field while San Diego shot 46 percent (26 of 56) from the field and 8 of 19 from beyond the arc.

SE Missouri (0-2) was 21 of 48 from the field, but was just 1 for 14 from three-point range. Aaron Adeoye led the Redhawks with 12 points.

Christopher Anderson scored 11 points and dished off an equal number of assists for San Diego.
