The Indianapolis Colts will keep their year agreement with the school through the summer of 2016.

Anderson was the summer home of the Colts when they first moved to Indiana in 1984. They remained there through 1998, then returned to the school in 2010.

"With this extension, the university has agreed to continue to upgrade its facilities so we can prepare for the rigorous NFL season," said Colts general manager Chris Polian. "The city of Anderson allows us to train in close proximity to our home base so fans from Indianapolis and surrounding areas can enjoy seeing the team prepare."

The Colts will conclude their stay at Anderson on Thursday before heading back to the team's headquarters in Indianapolis.
