Karl Cochran scored 20 points and Lee Skinner added 15 points as Wofford beat Iona 86-73 on Tuesday as part of ESPN's Tip-Off Marathon.

Iona led 42-39 at halftime and David Laury hit a short shot in the paint to tie the game at 52-52 with 14:41 left, but Wofford steadily pulled away. Jaylen Allen's 3-pointer at 6:35 put Wofford up by 12 and the Terriers led by as many as 18 points in the closing minutes.

The 6-foot-9 Laury led Iona (1-1) with 23 points on 8 of 17 shooting while A.J. English added 22.

Wofford (1-1) outrebounded the Gaels 32-23 and had a 33-14 advantage in bench scoring during the game that tipped off at 7 a.m. EDT. Allen finished with 11 points and Justin Gordon added 13.
