Alex Ross threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns and added 66 more with a touchdown on the ground to lead Coastal Carolina to a 52-21 win over Monmouth on Saturday.

De'Angelo Henderson added 110 yards on the ground on just 13 carries with a touchdown, and John Israel caught eight passes for 111 yards and a score for a Coastal Carolina offense that racked up 560 yards of total offense and out rushed Monmouth 284 to 51.

Defensively, Quinn Backus, Imir Sanders, and Kamron Summers each had interceptions for Coastal Carolina (11-0, 4-0 Big South).

Neil Sterling caught eight passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns, including a 73-yard bomb in the second quarter to lead Monmouth (5-5, 0-4).

Coastal Carolina took a 21-point lead into the break, extending it to 24 at the end of three.
