Los Angeles Clippers forward Caron Butler is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks after suffering a broken bone in his left hand during Sunday's Western Conference playoff game against Memphis.

Butler was hurt during the third quarter of LA's 99-98 win in Game 1 of the series and x-rays confirmed a fracture in the fifth metacarpal of his left hand. He scored 12 points in 23 minutes before leaving the contest.

In 63 games for the Clippers this season, Butler averaged 12.0 points and 3.7 rebounds.
