Glasgow, Scotland (SportsNetwork.com) - Celtic clung to a one-goal lead to hold off Dundee FC in a 2-1 home victory at Parkhead on Saturday.

The two sides were level until the 45th minute when Anthony Stoke broke the deadlock to put the hosts in front.

It looked as though the Hoops would run away with the result after John Guidetti doubled their advantage in the 54th minute, but David Clarkson kept Dundee in the match by pulling one back just four minutes later.

An equalizer, though, ultimately proved to be elusive as Celtic improved to 29 points to stay atop the Scottish Premier League table.

Inverness kept pace at the summit by claiming a 3-1 home victory over Motherwell on Saturday.

Billy McKay and Henrik Ojamaa exchanged first-half goals, but the second period belonged to the hosts as strikes from Marley Watkins and Josh Meekings helped Inverness climb to 29 points on the season.

Hamilton cruised to all three points on Saturday as goals from Anthony Andreu, Mickael Antoine-Curier and Alistair Crawford granted the club a 3-0 victory over St. Mirren.

Rounding out Saturday's Premier League action, Dundee United edged Kilmarnock in a 3-1 victory while St. Johnstone held off Ross County to collect a 2-1 win.
