The Arizona Cardinals signed wide receiver Mike Thomas to a one-year contract Tuesday, one day after the four-year pro was released by the Detroit Lions.

Thomas has compiled 176 catches totaling 1,796 yards with seven touchdowns during his career, the majority of which has been spent with Jacksonville. His best season came in 2010, when the former University of Arizona standout set personal bests of 66 receptions, 820 receiving yards and four touchdowns with the Jaguars.

The 26-year-old, a fourth-round selection of Jacksonville in the 2009 draft, had 18 catches for 108 yards and a touchdown while splitting the 2012 campaign with the Jaguars and Lions. Thomas was traded to Detroit by Jacksonville midway through the season.
