Arlington, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Capitals have acquired forward Dustin Penner from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Penner had 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points in 49 games with the Ducks this season. He returned to Anaheim in October after playing his first two NHL seasons with the Ducks.

The 31-year-old Manitoba native has 150 goals and 157 assists for 307 points in 571 NHL games over 10 seasons with the Kings, Oilers and Ducks. He won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007 and the Kings in 2012.
