Vancouver Canucks forward Daniel Sedin has been ruled of the team's Game 1 Western Conference quarterfinal matchup against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday.

Sedin took an elbow to the head from Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith on March 21 and has been out of action since. The cheap shot earned Keith a five-game suspension.

In 72 games this season, Sedin had 30 goals and 37 assists.
