Jordan Canada ran for a career-high 206 yards and scored two touchdowns in Montana's 35-17 victory over Southern Utah on Saturday.

Canada carried 28 times for the Grizzlies (7-4, 5-2 Big Sky) and scored on runs of 14 and 56 yards. Jordan Johnson threw for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Johnson hit Sean Haynes from 12 yards for a score early in the second quarter and then threw a 62-yard strike to Travon Van and the Grizzlies led 14-7. Ammon Olsen helped Southern Utah keep pace with two scores — a 5-yard pass and a 2-yard run — to tie it 14-14 at halftime.

The Thunderbirds (2-9, 2-5) went ahead in the third on a Keita Calhoun field goal before the Griz clinched it on Canada's two TD runs and Jamal Wilson's rushing touchdown.

Olsen finished with 341 yards and a touchdown for the Thunderbirds.
