New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Browns quarterback Jason Campbell, Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake and New York Jets kicker Nick Folk have been selected as the AFC's top players for Week 9 of the NFL season.

Campbell earned the offensive award after completing 23-of-35 passes for 262 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a 24-18 win over Baltimore. He became the first Browns quarterback to throw at least three TD passes without an interception since Brady Quinn in 2009 and helped Cleveland snap an 11-game losing streak to Baltimore.

Wake picked up the defensive honor after his overtime sack of Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton in the end zone gave the Dolphins the winning safety and a 22-20 victory over the Bengals. He finished the game with five tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Folk continued his perfect season Sunday with four field goals in New York's 26-20 win over New Orleans. He made kicks of 39, 21, 47 and 45 yards, extending his streak to 23 straight field goals made to start the season. It's his second special teams award of the season, having also captured the honor in Week 1.

Other offensive nominees included New England quarterback Tom Brady, who threw for 432 yards with four touchdowns in a 55-31 victory over Pittsburgh; Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who caught nine passes for 143 yards with a touchdown against the Steelers; and Houston receiver Andre Johnson, who hauled in nine passes for 229 yards with a career-best three touchdowns in a 27-24 loss to Indianapolis.

Defensive consideration went to Miami cornerback Brent Grimes, who had five tackles and returned an interception 94 yards for a touchdown against the Bengals; and Kansas City cornerback Sean Smith, who returned an interception 100 yards for a score in a 23-13 win over Buffalo.

Kansas City kicker Ryan Succop was nominated for the special teams award after kicking three field goals to help the Chiefs stay undefeated.
