New York, NY – The New York Rangers revealed on Friday that forwards Ryan Callahan and Carl Hagelin both underwent successful shoulder surgeries.
The procedures, which were to repair torn labrums in both players' left shoulders, were performed earlier in the day by Dr. Andrew Feldman at the NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan.
Callahan, the 28-year-old Rangers captain, finished the postseason with two goals and five points in 12 games, after collecting 16 goals and 15 assists in 45 regular-season tilts.
Hagelin totaled three goals and three assists in 12 playoff appearances, following a 10-goal, 24-point regular season where he participated in all 48 games.
