Indio, CA – Cornelius Bundrage recorded a technical knockout victory in a rematch over Cory Spinks to retain his IBF junior middleweight belt on Saturday.
Bundrage (32-4-0, 19 KOs), a Detroit native, scored the technical knockout in the seventh round, two rounds later than his fifth-round TKO against Spinks in their first fight on Aug. 7, 2010 in St. Louis.
Spinks (39-7, 11 KOs) was knocked down three times in the seventh round before referee Ray Corona stopped the bout at the 2:32 mark of the round.
