Pau Gasol added 16 points and 10 boards, Steve Blake had 11 points and Josh McRoberts finished with 10 for the Lakers, who have won two in a row after opening the season with a pair of losses.

The Knicks, meanwhile, have dropped two in a row after a season-opening Christmas Day win over the rival Celtics. They were paced by Carmelo Anthony's 27 points. Amare' Stoudemire chipped in 15 and Tyson Chandler posted a double- double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
