Bryant leads Lakers over Knicks

Los Angeles, CA – Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 28 points, 82 win over the Knicks on Thursday night.

Pau Gasol added 16 points and 10 boards, Steve Blake had 11 points and Josh McRoberts finished with 10 for the Lakers, who have won two in a row after opening the season with a pair of losses.

The Knicks, meanwhile, have dropped two in a row after a season-opening Christmas Day win over the rival Celtics. They were paced by Carmelo Anthony's 27 points. Amare' Stoudemire chipped in 15 and Tyson Chandler posted a double- double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
