Boston, MA – The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Andrew year contract extension.
Bodnarchuk spent the past three seasons with Boston's American Hockey League affiliate in Providence and appeared in five games for the Bruins during the 2009-10 campaign. He did not register a point and had two penalty minutes during his brief stint with Boston.
The 23-year-old Alberta native posted a goal and 15 assists in 75 games for Providence last season.
