BEREA, Ohio (AP) Browns linebacker Paul Kruger says it was difficult to watch the film of him and his teammates missing tackles in last week's loss to Oakland.

Cleveland's defense has had all types of issues so far this season, with poor tackling at the top of the list. The Browns are ranked last in the league in rushing defense, allowing 158.3 yards per game. The unit was No. 32 overall last season against the run and had hoped to improve in 2015.

Last week, the Raiders rolled up 469 total yards - 155 on the ground - in their 27-20 win and Browns coach Mike Pettine said his staff counted 14 missed tackles. Pettine said ''it all needs to be better'' when asked what needs to get fixed.

Safety Donte Whitner has missed several tackles, leading to speculation he could be benched but coordinator Jim O'Neil said the team ''will roll'' with the veteran.
