Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski announced Monday that return specialist Travis Benjamin will miss the remainder of the season after tearing a knee ligament.

Benjamin sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Sunday's 23-17 loss at Kansas City.

The Miami-Florida product returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown on Oct. 3 against the Buffalo Bills and had an 86-yard kickoff return on Oct. 20 at Green Bay. He averaged 11.7 yards on 22 punt returns this season.

Drafted by the Browns in the fourth round last year, Benjamin also caught five passes for 105 yards as a reserve wide receiver.
