Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams was suspended for three more games by the NFL on Friday.

He was already serving a six-game suspension due to a violation of the league's banned-substances policy after he supplied a "non-human" urine sample during a drug test.

The further suspension is due to a conviction for a driving while ability impaired charge in August.

Denver's leading tackler in five of his eight seasons in the NFL, he won't be eligible to play a game until the team hosts San Diego on Nov. 18.
