Trondheim, Norway – Kristoffer Broberg birdied the second playoff hole on Sunday to win the Norwegian Challenge at Byneset Golf.
Broberg, who also won last week's Finnish Challenge, closed with a 2-under 70. Alvaro Velasco posted a 3-under 69 to join Broberg at 22-under-par 266.
They headed back to the 18th for the playoff. The duo both made par the first time, then Broberg poured in a 60-footer for birdie on the second extra hole. Velasco was about five feet closer, but his birdie try narrowly missed right to give Broberg his second straight victory.
Rafa Echenique posted a 6-under 66 to take third at minus-21. Steven O'Hara fired a 7-under 65 to join Oliver Wilson at 20-under 268. Wilson closed with a 4-under 68.
