John Brisco scored 17 points, Reggis Onwukamuche added 10 with 12 rebounds and Prairie View A&M defeated Division III Schreiner 64-48 on Wednesday night.

Zachary Hamilton chipped in 12 points with nine boards and Karim York scored 10 for the Panthers (1-7). Prairie View had a 28-16 advantage on points in the paint and finished with 18 second-chance points.

Prairie View pulled away from a then back-and-forth first half, as Brisco sank all three of his 3-pointers in a two-minute stretch to grab a 29-19 lead. Brisco's three-point play along with Jaryn Johnson's two free throws capped a 15-2 run.

The Panthers, up 36-26 at the break, led by double digits the rest of the way.

The Mountaineers had four leads early, but couldn't keep pace, finishing 16 of 46 from the field. Hollis Robinson finished with 11 points and Phillip Kee had nine with six rebounds for Schreiner.
