Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Donovan Hand left the game with a right hand contusion after getting hit by a Tyson Ross pitch in the third inning.

Hand was drilled while trying to pull back on a bunt attempt. The right-hander immediately dropped to the ground and rolled around in pain. He pitched one more inning before exiting the game. The Milwaukee pitcher allowed two runs on seven hits in his fourth start of the season.

This was Hand's first start since July 4th.
