Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Brewers placed left-handed pitcher Tom Gorzelanny on the 15-day disabled list Sunday, retroactive to March 21.
Gorzelanny underwent left shoulder surgery in early December after going 3-6 with a 3.90 earned run average in 43 games, including 10 starts, for the Brewers last season.
The 31-year-old southpaw owns a 47-51 career record with a 4.36 ERA in 236 games, including 121 starts, over nine seasons with the Pirates, Cubs, Nationals and Brewers.
