Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Milwaukee Brewers activated shortstop Jean Segura from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.
Segura landed on the DL May 14 with a fractured right pinky finger. He was batting .262 with two home runs and 12 RBI in 33 games prior to the injury.
The Brewers opened a roster spot by designating pitcher Brandon Kintzler for assignment. The right-hander had a 6.43 ERA in seven relief appearances.
