The Atlanta Braves activated third baseman Chipper Jones from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, a little more than two weeks after he had knee surgery.

Jones, who is set to retire at the end of the season, had a procedure March 26 to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.

The 39-year-old infielder is entering his 19th major league season, all with the Braves.

Atlanta was in Houston for the second game of a three-game series against the Astros.
