Michael Bradley says he wants to become an all-around midfielder like former Manchester United great Roy Keane when he starts his new career at Aston Villa.

The 23-year-old American was loaned to the Villans on Monday by Borussia Moenchengladbach. Bradley, a son of U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley, says he has tried to model his play on that of Keane.

Keane's stamina, scoring and tackling made him arguably the most complete midfielder of his generation.

Bradley says "the way he was able to be the engine and heart of their team and help them be successful was something to aspire to." Bradley added that he "can attack and defend and impose myself in the center of the field."
