Charlotte, NC – Charlotte Bobcats guard D.J. Augustin will miss four games due to an inflammatory condition of the sesmoid bones that lie in the flexor tendons on his right big toe.
Augustin was seen by Charlotte orthopedist Dr. Bob Anderson on Tuesday.
Augustin re-aggravated the injury during to the first quarter of Sunday's game at New Jersey.
He is averaging 13.6 points, 6.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 17 games this season.
