The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed left wing Nick Foligno to a three-year contract worth $9.25 million.

A restricted free agent, Foligno will earn $2.5 million for the upcoming season, $3 million in 2013-14 and $3.75 million for 2014-15.

The Blue Jackets acquired Foligno from Ottawa on July 1 in exchange for defenseman Marc Methot.
