LeGarrette Blount and rookie Doug Martin each rushed for a touchdown in the first half of Tampa Bay's 20-7 win over Miami in the preseason opener for both teams.

The Buccaneers lost their final 10 games last season, resulting in Greg Schiano taking over the head coaching reins from Raheem Morris.

Schiano's debut in the pro ranks went swimmingly.

Josh Freeman played just one series and connected on 4-of-5 passes for 41 yards, and his backup, Dan Orlovsky, completed all eight of his attempts for 91 yards.

Blount and Martin ran for 30 and 21 yards, respectively, on seven carries apiece. Tiquan Underwood, who played under Schiano at Rutgers, led the receiving corps with 76 yards on three catches.

The Dolphins also tabbed a new coach in the offseason coming off their disappointing 6-10 campaign. Joe Philbin, the former Green Bay offensive coordinator, is already dealing with his first big injury in quarterback David Garrard.

Garrard, who is battling with Matt Moore and rookie Ryan Tannehill for the starting spot, is reportedly set to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and will be sidelined for two to four weeks.

Moore got the start in Garrard's place Friday and threw for 79 yards and an interception on 7-of-12 efficiency.

Tannehill, the eighth overall selection in the 2012 draft out of Texas A&M, played well in extended action, as he completed 14-of-21 passes for 167 yards and threw a touchdown pass to Charles Clay in the third quarter.

Reggie Bush ran for a team-high 17 yards on four carries, while Julius Pruitt hauled in six passes for 52 yards.
